PhonePe expansion of data and startup services
Overview
On July 30, 2026, the Indian digital payments platform PhonePe launched PulsePro, an enterprise intelligence service. The platform utilizes aggregated and anonymized transaction data from its user and merchant base to provide near-real-time, hyperlocal market insights across nearly all Indian postal codes.
By August 20, 2026, PhonePe expanded its involvement in the Indian economic landscape through several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs). The company partnered with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) to support the startup ecosystem by providing transaction credits, access to the Indus AppStore, and business mentorship.
Additionally, PhonePe signed an agreement with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) to integrate the PulsePro platform into the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan portal. This integration is intended to support national infrastructure planning and economic analysis through data-driven decision-making.
