Poland nuclear power plant infrastructure development
Overview
In the Pomerania region of Poland, construction has commenced on the DK69 road, a 26-kilometer route designed to connect the S6 expressway to the future Lubiatowo-Kopalino nuclear power plant site.
The project, which began in April 2026, is being built as a main accelerated traffic road (GP class) capable of supporting heavy vehicles with axle loads up to 11.5 tons. Current work is concentrated on a 5-kilometer section near the power plant site, involving earthworks, drainage, and soil reinforcement to facilitate the heavy transport required during the plant’s construction phase.
