Overview

Police in Aurangabad and Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, conducted intensive operations to curb illegal activities. In Aurangabad, a crackdown led by Superintendent of Police Upendra Nath Verma resulted in the arrest of 49 individuals facing various charges, including assault on police, rape, and violations of the Prohibition Act. Authorities stated they are maintaining a “zero-tolerance policy toward smuggling networks” and will continue monitoring suspicious activities.
