In the Jaunpur district, police intercepted two individuals on a motorcycle during a vehicle check. The suspects opened fire, leading to a retaliatory response from officers. One suspect, identified as Rinku Yadav, a habitual offender with multiple pending charges including attempted murder and robbery, was shot in the leg and arrested alongside an accomplice.
