Police vehicle pursuit incidents

The pursuit ended after the vehicle collided with a motorcyclist on Macquarie Road, leaving the rider with minor injuries. In late July 2026, a similar high‑speed chase occurred in Catania, Sicily, Italy, when a stolen car driver attempted to ram a police patrol.
