Polish municipal public transport fleet updates

Polish municipalities are managing the transition of their public transport fleets through the sale of decommissioned vehicles and the procurement of modern alternatives.

Local governments have initiated auctions to sell older models, such as a 2005 Autosan Tramp in Majdan Królewski and Solaris buses in Kielce. MPK Lublin has integrated nine new hybrid buses, while the Upper Silesian-Zagłębie Metropolis has completed the delivery of 73 electric buses and 45 chargers. This regional modernization, valued at nearly 305 million PLN and supported by the National Recovery Plan, aims to reduce local emissions.
