Gonçalves met the officials and expressed solidarity, but the training suspension remains, putting the Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira – scheduled for 1 August in Coimbra between FC Porto and Torreense – in jeopardy. Organisers say the match could proceed with substitute officials or be postponed, but cancellation is unlikely; André Narciso has been appointed to officiate. Proença condemned the leak as illegal and immoral, reiterated confidence in Portuguese refereeing and refused to apologise, and a meeting between referees and the FPF president is planned for the Saturday morning of the Supertaça to try to resolve the dispute.
