Pratt & Whitney expansion in Poland
Overview
Pratt & Whitney has commenced a $100 million expansion in Rzeszów, Poland, to increase production capacity for critical engine components. The new facility will focus on manufacturing rotating parts, such as turbine disks and compressor rotors, to support commercial and military engine models including the F100, F135, and GTF series.
The project is expected to be operational by 2028 and is projected to create more than 120 jobs. This investment, alongside a concurrent $200 million project at the company’s Columbus Forge facility in Georgia, USA, aims to increase the output of critical parts by 30 percent. The expansion reinforces Poland’s role as the largest RTX investment and employee base outside of the United States.
