Procter & Gamble leadership and compensation changes

Procter & Gamble underwent a leadership transition in mid-2026. Shailesh Jejurikar, who previously served as President and CEO, was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors effective August 1, 2026. This change followed the retirement of Executive Chairman Jon Moeller, who departed the company in August after a 38-year tenure.

Following this transition, the company utilized its ‘2025 Stock and Incentive Compensation Plan’ to award stock to several top executives. CEO Shailesh Jejurikar received 16,195 shares, bringing his total holdings to over 45,500 shares. Other allocations included 6,839 shares for Chief R&D Officer Moses Victor Javier Aguilar and 7,727 shares for Health Care division CEO Paul Gama.

This compensation strategy occurred alongside the company’s continued focus on its dividend history, having paid $10.2 billion in dividends during fiscal 2026 while maintaining a 70-year streak of consecutive increases. For fiscal year 2026, P&G reported operating cash flow of $19.6 billion and net income of $16 billion. Looking toward 2027, the company has set a moderate growth target of 1% to 3%.
