Programming changes and disruptions at SBT

Overview

The Brazilian broadcaster SBT is undergoing various programming adjustments and disruptions. The network has introduced new presenters to the news program ‘SBT Cidades’ following the departure of Rodrigo Bocardi, and has scheduled a production hiatus for the game show ‘Roda a Roda’ from late September through December to accommodate ‘The Voice Brasil’.

Simultaneously, the network has experienced interruptions to its telenovela broadcasts, specifically ‘O Que a Vida Me Roubou’. These disruptions have been caused by coverage of sports events and breaking news, including extended reporting on a fatal helicopter crash in the Urubici region of Santa Catarina that resulted in five deaths.
