Rapyuta Robotics automation and logistics solutions
Overview
Rapyuta Robotics has expanded its presence in the automation sector, moving from specific factory implementations to broader logistics optimization solutions.
Initially, the company demonstrated the impact of its ‘Rapyuta PA-AMR’ (Autonomous Mobile Robot) at Orion Kikai’s Suzaka Inter Factory in Nagano Prefecture. The deployment aimed to transition the facility toward smart factory operations by automating manufacturing and logistics. This implementation reportedly increased processing capacity up to three times higher than manual labor under certain conditions while reducing the physical burden on employees.
Building on these automation capabilities, Rapyuta Robotics announced an ‘End-to-end solution’ designed to optimize entire logistics workflows. Utilizing its ‘rapyuta.io’ cloud robotics platform, the system coordinates various material handling machines, including third-party equipment, to manage complex B2B, B2C, and return flows. The company plans to refine this solution through co-design partnerships with logistics operators through March 2027 and is exploring the use of AI for automated consulting in smaller facilities.
