In Germany, a 33-year-old man in Osnabrück required emergency medical treatment via helicopter after being bitten by a rattlesnake while feeding it. The bite was considered life-threatening, necessitating the transport of antivenom to his location. Following the incident, authorities discovered a tarantula at the man's residence, and both animals were taken into custody as officials investigate potential violations of animal welfare and species protection laws.
