In late July, the club signed Ghanaian international Derrick Luckassen on a three-year contract following his departure from Pafos FC. While the Lazio deal failed, Dieng successfully cleared medical examinations in Belgrade to finalize the move. Valued at approximately 15 million euros, Dieng expressed excitement about joining the club and stated his goal is to help the team achieve success in upcoming competitions, including the Europa League. Under manager Albert Riera, Dieng is expected to provide depth and goal-scoring potential for the club’s European campaign.
