Various Latin American nations are implementing agricultural initiatives focused on regenerative livestock and sustainable production practices.

In Ecuador, the government is executing the Sustainable Livestock Strengthening Project (PROFOSPE). Running through 2029, the initiative aims to train 10,000 producers and distribute 20,000 kits to establish silvopastoral systems. These systems are intended to improve profitability and conserve natural resources by recovering soil health and protecting water sources. Participants can access a 75% subsidy on equipment such as electric fences and biodigesters.

In Panama, the Ministry of Agricultural Development has conducted educational tours in Colón to teach pasture conservation, soil regeneration, and water management. Similarly, in Argentina, the Grassfed Chaco 2026 tour has focused on soil management, holistic management, and buffalo ranching, alongside reviewing municipal programs like ‘Sáenz Peña Regenera’ to support sustainable production and local meat value-added processes.
