Renault Group manufacturing and production adjustments

Overview

Renault Group is implementing various production shifts across its international facilities to align with market demands and brand strategies.

In France, the company is adjusting output at the Maubeuge plant, where the end of Mercedes Citan production led to a nearly 15% reduction in volume. To offset this, Renault is increasing production of the Renault 4, while the thermal Kangoo remains the primary product. Simultaneously, the Douai site is accelerating electric R5 production due to strong sales, transitioning to a three-shift schedule and hiring approximately 350 temporary workers to meet demand.

In Morocco, the Tangier factory is being prepared to produce a future Dacia model. This project, conducted in collaboration with Renault Technology Morocco, follows a period of high volume for the facility, which produced nearly 300,000 vehicles in 2025. The plant has also recently integrated hybrid production capabilities for the Dacia Jogger.
