Residential fires in Iran

Overview

Residential fires have occurred in different regions of Iran. In Rasht, a blaze on Busar Boulevard spread from villas to a five-story apartment building, reportedly aided by Isogam-coated walls on an adjacent structure. Firefighters faced difficulties due to the lack of a dry riser in the apartment building.

In Tehran, a separate fire broke out in a three-story residential building on Shamran No Street. Emergency crews rescued 17 residents, including a father and son who sustained burns to their faces and hands. No fatalities were reported in the Tehran incident.
