Revival of French fashion brands via retail acquisitions
Overview
Following its judicial liquidation in 2025, the French fashion brand Jennyfer has begun returning to the French market through a distribution partnership with Vib’s. Part of a strategy by Groupe Beaumanoir to strengthen its multi-brand retail model, Jennyfer collections have been made available in 50 Vib’s locations and online.
This revival is part of a broader trend where Groupe Beaumanoir is integrating defunct ready-to-wear brands into existing retail infrastructures. In addition to Jennyfer, the group announced that the brand Naf Naf will be available starting in September through approximately 300 La Halle stores and the online retailer Sarenza. These moves aim to leverage brand nostalgia and limit real estate costs by utilizing established store networks.
