Roberto Soldić transition to UFC
Overview
Former KSW two-division champion Roberto Soldić has successfully transitioned to the UFC, winning his welterweight debut at UFC 332 in Salt Lake City. Facing Khaos Williams, Soldić overcame early adversity in the first round when Williams landed strikes that sent him to the canvas. Soldić regained control through ground management and body shots, eventually dominating the second and third rounds with precise striking, high kicks, and effective wrestling. Judges awarded Soldić a unanimous decision victory with scores of 29-28, 29-27, and 29-27, marking the 22nd win of his professional career.
Following the victory, Soldić indicated he is in good health and is considering a return to the octagon as early as the end of 2026. In an interview with Ariel Helwani, he noted that discussions regarding his next bout are ongoing. Reflecting on his career and personal ties, Soldić expressed deep appreciation for Poland, describing the country as his ‘second home’ and stating he would consider living there if he improved his language skills.
