Potra faces charges including attempting to undermine the constitutional order and weapons violations. Additionally, the High Court extended the preventive arrest of prosecutors Gigi Valentin Ștefan and Teodor Niță, along with Dumitru Daniel Learciu, for 30 days in an investigation into influence peddling and abuse of office.

In a separate legal development, the Constitutional Court published decisions regarding the unconstitutional management boards of TVR and Radio România, citing failures to respect parliamentary group proportions, which effectively terminated the current leadership of these public media institutions.
