RTL has launched a new season of the reality competition ‘Asia Express: Zmajeva ruta’ (Asia Express: Dragon's Route), featuring a 6,000-kilometre trek through Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand. Participants must navigate jungles, urban streets, and isolated villages with only one euro per day and no modern navigation technology, transport, or accommodation. The grand prize for the winners is 30,000 euros, with additional bonuses of 1,000 euros available for each amulet won during the race. The program is scheduled to premiere on RTL and the Voyo streaming platform.

Initial participants include entrepreneur Niko Tokić Kartelo and his nephew Ivan Tokić. Kartelo suggested that surviving the route would be a sign he is “ready for a new presidential race.” Other contestants include influencer Ella Dvornik and Ines Kordić Miotto. Dvornik, the daughter of musician Dino Dvornik, seeks her first competitive victory by stepping out of her comfort zone. Kordić Miotto, a communications and marketing professional, noted that the competition’s unpredictability will be her primary challenge. The two friends intend to combine Dvornik’s improvisation with Kordić Miotto’s preference for organization and control.
