In late July, a flight from Palma de Mallorca to Bologna was delayed by 18 hours. Passengers described the event as a “ghost flight” due to sparse communication. Ryanair attributed the delay to a minor technical issue and weather disturbances, noting that they provided meal vouchers and a replacement aircraft.

In August, a separate incident occurred on a flight from Bologna to Malaga, where passengers were delayed for ten hours while confined inside the aircraft. Witnesses reported that travelers were left with minimal food and water, leading to three individuals fainting and requiring emergency medical services. Ryanair stated the delay was caused by “extraordinary bad weather” that was outside of the company’s control.
