Sacheon preparations for provincial sports festival

Overview

Sacheon City initiated preparations for the 2028 Gyeongsangnam-do Provincial Sports Festival, which will be jointly hosted by Sacheon, Namhae, and Hadong. To build momentum for the event, the city organized the ‘2026 Sacheon Citizen Health Walking Competition’ on September 5 at the Sacheon City Hall Sunset Plaza.

Approximately 3,000 citizens participated in the 4km walking course. Beyond promoting community health and unity, the event served as a platform to advocate for the early enactment of the Aerospace Complex City Construction Special Act.
