Saltwound single release

Overview

Sacramento-based deathcore band Saltwound released a new standalone single titled ‘Pound of Flesh’ via SharpTone Records. The track features a guest appearance by Ringo Waterman of the band Mugshot.

Vocalist Spencer Timmons described the song as a cynical examination of human relationships, noting that ‘Everybody just wants to take a chunk out of you for themselves.’ The release, which follows their 2024 debut album ‘The Temptation of Pain’, is accompanied by a music video. The band is scheduled to begin the ‘Death Coast ’26’ tour with Cultist in late August.
