The Galaxy Tab S12 Plus is rumored to feature a 12.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display (2800 x 1752 resolution) with a 120Hz refresh rate, 12GB of RAM, a 10,600 mAh battery with 45W charging, and a 13MP rear camera. The S12 Ultra is anticipated to have a 14.6-inch AMOLED screen (2960 x 1848 resolution), up to 16GB of RAM, up to 512GB or 1TB of storage, an 11,600 mAh battery, and a quad-speaker system. The Ultra model may also include an 8MP ultra-wide camera.

Recent leaks regarding the S12 Ultra suggest the 11,600 mAh battery may provide approximately “88 hours and 54 minutes of autonomy” based on European energy label testing standards. The device is expected to maintain a teardrop camera notch and a class C repairability rating. Pricing leaks indicate potential increases in certain markets; the S12 Ultra Wi-Fi (12/256GB) is rumored to start at $1,400 in the US, while in India, the Ultra model could potentially start at ₹150,000.

Simultaneously, Samsung is broadening its mid-range offerings with the Galaxy Tab S10 FE Series and the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite. Regarding software lifecycles, the Galaxy Tab A9 and Galaxy Tab A9+ are scheduled to cease receiving Android updates in October 2026, with security updates expected to end in 2027.
