Overview
The 5th Ocoa Photography Contest, themed ‘Biodiversity of San José de Ocoa’, was launched to promote the province’s natural landscapes, ecosystems, and species through photography. The initiative, supported by local digital platforms, aims to use photography as a tool for environmental education and conservation.
Due to a coincidence with other cultural events in the province, organizers extended the submission deadline to October 30 and rescheduled the awards ceremony from October 24 to November 14. As of the latest update, approximately 100 images have been submitted. Prizes for the competition include cash awards for the top three winners and two special mentions.
