Saudi STEM Racing international achievements
Overview
Saudi Arabian students participating in the Aramco STEM Racing program, hosted by the Ithra center, have achieved significant international success in science, engineering, and leadership competitions.
Individual participants have gained global recognition for research in energy and environmental engineering. Notable achievements include the development of green hydrogen production systems and solar-powered desalination methods, with one project receiving international patent acceptance. Other students have been recognized for excellence in project management on a global scale.
In the global finals of the Aramco STEM Race held in Singapore, the Saudi team ‘LINX’ secured first place, marking the first time a Saudi team has won this specific global title. The delegation also earned the ‘Best Team Identity’ award, while the ‘Buzz’ team from Jeddah received awards for ‘Best Project Management’ and the ‘Elimination Round’.
