Further investigation into Lawrence’s digital history has revealed additional controversial statements. Resurfaced records show him describing the nuclear family as an “isolating, individualistic, violent way of organizing society” and advocating for the “eradication” of national borders. Additionally, lyrics from a song he wrote in 2021 targeting Senator Joe Manchin included the phrase, “Hurry up and die so that we can get started.” These findings have raised questions regarding his political alignment as he attempts to present himself as a moderate in a competitive swing district.
