On September 19, reports emerged of an elderly man being trapped inside his vehicle at the intersection of Avenida Insurgentes and Aguilar Barraza after a tree fell on the car. Emergency responders from the Secretaría de Seguridad Pública y Tránsito Municipal and Protección Civil utilized heavy machinery and manual labor to rescue the driver. Authorities confirmed the man was successfully rescued and remained uninjured.
