Overview

A High Court in Freetown issued an interim injunction against the leadership of the All People’s Congress (APC), freezing the operational authority of National Chairman Osman Foday Yansaneh and National Secretary General Lansana Dumbuya. To facilitate internal democratic processes, the court ordered the APC to complete delegate elections across all districts within 21 days.
