Sinaloa school uniform and supply distribution program

Overview

In late September 2026, textile suppliers in Salvador Alvarado, Sinaloa, began awaiting payments for the state government’s school uniform and supplies program. Following meetings with program officials, the government started receiving documentation for payment requests, with a commitment to process payments approximately one month after administrative completion. Local textile leaders urged merchants to submit paperwork promptly to avoid year-end delays.

By late October, the Sinaloa Secretariat of Public Education and Culture (SEPyC) reported that the distribution of uniforms, sports footwear, and school supplies for the 2026-2027 cycle had reached an 81.06% completion rate. While this coverage was slightly lower than the previous cycle’s 91.86%, officials expected figures to increase as supplies reached migrant children and students in marginalized areas via the National Council for Educational Development (CONAFE). Secretary Gloria Himelda Félix Niebla advised parents to utilize the benefits before the November 14 deadline.
