In Slovenia, Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport reached its one-millionth passenger of the year three weeks earlier than in 2025. Conversely, Split Airport has experienced a slight decline. While it recorded its highest July traffic ever with 770,152 passengers and an 85% load factor, this figure represents a 2.1% decrease compared to the previous July. For the first seven months of the year, total passenger numbers at Split reached 2,099,324, a 0.38% decrease. Officials attributed this downturn to rising fuel prices, flight cancellations, and shifts in global passenger flows related to the World Cup.
