Slovenian elderly residential infrastructure expansion

Overview

Slovenia has launched new residential and care facilities for elderly populations and people with disabilities in multiple locations.

In Krmelj, a new residential unit providing 16 places has opened. The project cost approximately three million euros, with the Ministry contributing roughly two million euros and the Impoljca Home for Retirees and Caregivers providing the remainder. The Municipality of Sevnica supported the initiative by providing land and infrastructure assistance.

Additionally, the Srebrni gaj neighborhood has opened in Dolenjske Toplice. Developed by GH Holding in cooperation with the municipality, this project features 53 apartments and 28 single-family houses. The development also includes the Srebrni gaj Park, which has been transferred to the municipality for management.
