Slovenská sporiteľňa banking service outages

Slovenská sporiteľňa has announced several periods of scheduled system maintenance and service outages affecting its customers.

In late September, the bank scheduled two overnight maintenance windows on the nights of September 25–26 and September 28–29. These outages were expected to impact the George mobile and web banking applications, Business24, Sporopay, Databanking, and MultiCash, as well as SMS services and mToken signing. A specific 30-minute window during these nights was identified where debit cards, ATMs, deposit machines, and various mobile payment services would be unavailable.

In mid-October, the bank announced further planned disruptions for October 17. Significant limitations were expected between midnight and 1:45 AM, affecting debit cards, internet payments, mobile services like Google Pay and Apple Pay, ATMs, and deposit machines. Additionally, the George mobile app and Business24 services were scheduled to be inaccessible from 4:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Restrictions on standing orders, direct debits, and investment operations were also expected to persist throughout the day, with cash deposit machines unavailable from the evening of October 16 until the evening of October 17.
