Overview

The administration of Governor Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros has implemented several institutional and social programs in Tlaxcala. The state established the State Secretariat for Women (SMET), a permanent framework designed to provide year-round specialized legal defense, shelters, and economic autonomy programs to support women and coordinate prevention efforts across 60 municipalities.
