Social welfare and housing in Mostar

Overview

In Mostar, social welfare efforts have focused on addressing food insecurity and housing needs for vulnerable populations. Complementing these food assistance efforts, the city has completed a social housing project in the Rodoč neighborhood. This project, part of the CEB II initiative, provides non-profit housing for 24 families previously residing in alternative accommodations. The Rodoč sub-project cost approximately 2.47 million KM, funded by the Council of Europe Development Bank and the City of Mostar. This initiative is part of a broader program to close collective centers and alternative accommodation locations across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
