By late August, Brazil announced the formal reactivation of its own consular services and in-person assistance at its embassy in Caracas. This reorganization follows the conclusion of Brazil’s role as the custodian of the Argentine Embassy, a position it held since August 2024 after Argentine diplomats were expelled following the July 28 presidential election results.
