Dr. Arnold Staniczek of the Natural History Museum in Stuttgart notes that residents will likely need to adapt to the presence of this species alongside other changing fauna.

To manage sightings, experts recommend using glass and paper to relocate spiders outdoors rather than handling them directly. Preventive measures include sealing small cracks in buildings and installing fly screens on windows to limit entry points.

In Austria, the Wasp spider has also established a presence in sunny habitats. To monitor these shifts, the Naturschutzbund Österreich is encouraging “citizen science” initiatives, asking the public to upload photos to help researchers track species distribution and prevalence.
