Stalking arrest at Roma Termini railway station

Overview

Authorities in Rome have arrested a man for the long-term stalking of a railway station employee at Roma Termini. The harassment reportedly began in the summer of 2025 after the victim assisted the suspect with a commercial transaction.

Over nearly a year, the individual allegedly observed the victim for hours while she worked and used various methods to obtain her phone number. Despite repeated refusals, the suspect continued to make unwanted requests for meetings and contacted the victim using multiple phone numbers. Following an investigation by the Polizia Ferroviaria, the man was observed loitering near automatic ticket machines while watching the victim. Due to a violation of a restraining order, the judiciary has ordered the man to be held in custody.
