Stellantis leadership reorganization
Overview
As part of its ‘FastLane 2030’ strategic plan, Stellantis has implemented a leadership reorganization within its Enlarged Europe division. Effective September 1, 2026, Arnaud Belloni has been appointed CEO of Fiat, Abarth, and Lancia, while also serving as the Chief Marketing Officer for Europe. Belloni, returning to the company from Renault, is tasked with defining the strategic direction for these three Italian brands, which have been designated as ‘Global Brands’ under the group’s plan.
Belloni succeeds Olivier François, who led Fiat for 15 years. François will remain with the company until mid-October to facilitate a transition before moving into a role as a strategic advisor. Under this structure, Gaetano Thorel leads the three Italian brands in Europe, reporting functionally to Belloni.
The restructuring also includes a reorganization of the communications department within the Enlarged Europe region, effective September 8, 2026. Andrea Laura Siro-Brigiano has been appointed to the newly created position of Head of Lifestyle, Digital PR and New Media, reporting to Alessandro Nardizzi. Simona Magnarelli will succeed Siro-Brigiano as the head of press communications for Fiat and Abarth, while continuing to lead communications and events for Lancia, reporting to Belloni.
Further organizational changes include integrating Citroën and DS Automobiles under Xavier Chardon, and separating communication and public affairs functions, with Stephanie Hartgrove named Chief Communications Officer and Clara Ingen-Housz focusing on regulatory strategy and public policy.
