Steven Wilson upcoming album release
Overview
Musician Steven Wilson has announced his ninth studio album, ‘Requiem For A Village’, which is scheduled for release on November 6 via Fiction Records.
Wilson has adopted an unorthodox production approach by intentionally avoiding artificial intelligence and corrective audio technologies. Instead, the project emphasizes the ‘human element’ through the use of analog synthesizers, organic instruments, and uncorrected performances to embrace imperfections.
Following the initial announcement of the single ‘On Chapel Slope’, Wilson released a second single titled ‘A Basket Of Bees’. The album will be available in various formats, including CD, Blu-Ray, and multiple vinyl editions. The project features collaborations with artists such as Randy McStine, Russell Holzman, and Katherine Priddy, and includes narration voiced by actor David Tennant.
