Summer gastronomic and cultural festivals in Algarve

Overview

The Algarve region in Portugal is hosting various summer gastronomic and cultural festivals.

In August, celebrations include the Festival da Sardinha in Portimão and Olhos d’Água, as well as the 30th edition of the Festa da Ria Formosa in Faro. These events feature regional seafood, traditional crafts, and live musical performances. Other regional programs, such as Aljezur ConVida in Costa Vicentina, include cultural and magic shows.
