Following this, Ducati unveiled the Desmo450 SM, its first purpose-built racing supermoto. Derived from its Desmo450 MX motocross platform, the bike utilizes a 449.6cc single-cylinder engine with desmodromic valve actuation. It features Showa suspension, Brembo and Galfer braking systems, and is expected to go on sale in Europe in December 2026.
