Taiwan card shop embezzlement investigation

Overview

The owner of the Little Sheep Card Club, a prominent trading-card shop in Taipei’s Wanhua district, has disappeared following allegations of embezzling more than NT$200 million (approximately US$6 million).

Victims, including at least 3,000 customers and members of a large LINE group, report that the shop abruptly closed, social media accounts were deleted, and prepaid orders and consignment payments remain unpaid. Authorities from the Taipei City Government’s Legal Affairs Bureau and consumer-protection officials are investigating the incident, while police are urging affected customers to file formal reports.
