Taiwan card shop embezzlement investigation

Overview

The owner of the Little Sheep Card Club, a prominent trading-card shop in Taipei’s Wanhua district, has disappeared following allegations of embezzling more than NT$200 million (approximately US$6 million).

Victims, including at least 3,000 customers and members of a large LINE group, report that the shop abruptly closed, social media accounts were deleted, and prepaid orders and consignment payments remain unpaid.
