C. for an alleged double homicide that occurred in December 2025 in the Santa Teresa agency of Huajuapan de León. The victims were intercepted, forced into a vehicle, and later found dead wrapped in blankets.

Recent violence has expanded to the Ejidal neighborhood of San Martín Mexicapan, where a couple—identified as 36-year-old corn vendor Jesús A. C. and his 30-year-old partner, Rosalba—were killed on a Saturday night. The victims were traveling on a cargo motorcycle when they were intercepted by individuals in another vehicle. The Oaxaca Prosecutor's Office is currently reviewing C5 camera footage to identify the perpetrators.
