Teletón 2026 fundraising and rehabilitation updates

Overview

The Teletón 2026 solidarity campaign is actively progressing through fundraising, regional tours, and technological advancements. In Honduras, the ‘Voluntad en Acción’ campaign seeks 80 million lempiras for rehabilitation services, featuring a tribute to journalist Julio César Núñez.

In Chile, the national tour has expanded its reach. A major event in Calama drew over 16,000 people to the former Finca San Juan, featuring musical acts such as Cachureos and Noche de Brujas. During this stop, singer Alanys Lagos visited the Calama institute, which reported serving over 700 users in the past year. The tour has since transitioned to its southern leg, utilizing a traditional solidarity train departing from Estación Central. This southern route, accompanied by campaign ambassador Iaán Calderón, includes stops in Rancagua and Talca. Notably, Mario Kreutzberger highlighted that the Chilean Congress has unanimously declared the first Saturday of November as National Teletón Day.

In Paraguay, the foundation concluded a tour through several departments, including Paraguarí and Villarrica, under the theme “¿Y si lo hacemos por una familia más? Familia por familia”. These efforts focused on sharing stories of inclusion and presenting the official 2026 marathon spot.

Regional initiatives include the ‘Superhéroes del Reciclaje’ program in Ñuble and support for the Talca institute, which serves approximately 2,000 users in the Maule Region. The main 27-hour televised event on November 6 and 7, directed by Juan Pablo González, will feature five thematic blocks and a grand finale at the Estadio Nacional. Rehabilitation advancements continue to be a focus, specifically the use of virtual reality technology in 14 centers to support cognitive and motor skills.
