Tencent AI ecosystem expansion

Overview

Tencent has expanded its artificial intelligence capabilities through new consumer and enterprise offerings. The company launched a HarmonyOS version of its Yuanbao AI assistant, featuring the Hunyuan Hy4 preview model for complex logical planning and structured reasoning. This release included the ‘Tencent Hy Translation’ app, which supports 33 languages and is available across multiple platforms and regions.

Following these consumer-facing updates, Tencent Cloud introduced Yuanbao Search, a service tailored for enterprises and developers. This search engine integrates public web resources with Tencent’s internal ecosystem to support large language models and AI agents. The service features deep integration with authoritative sources across various industries, such as finance and medical, and provides high coverage for international financial reports.
