Terra Drone interceptor drone development in Japan

Overview

Terra Drone is transitioning into the defense sector to address Japan’s security needs. CEO Toru Tokushige noted that the company is pivoting toward the military market to meet growing demand for rapid technological innovation. This shift comes as the Japanese Ministry of Defense increasingly looks to agile startups to complement traditional defense giants in response to security threats from Russia, North Korea, and China.
