The Hungarian avant-garde metal project Thy Catafalque, led by Tamás Kátai, has released two singles in anticipation of its thirteenth album, ‘XIII: Sárga erdő’ (Yellow Forest), scheduled for release on November 20 via Season of Mist.

The upcoming album represents a technical milestone for the project, as it is the first to feature a live drummer instead of programmed rhythms. The production involves thirty-four musicians and a twenty-voice male choir, incorporating diverse instruments such as the sitar, kamancheh, and zither.
