However, the 2nd Health Region of Piraeus and Aegean officially rejected the initiative, stating it was not organized, sanctioned, or co-organized by the regional health authority or the Tinos Health Center. The authority clarified that it has not managed any funds from the project and noted that official equipment procurement is being handled through a separate central tender via the Recovery and Resilience Fund.

Following these administrative disputes, Georgios St. Vasilakis resigned as President of the Governing Committee of the Tinos Health Center. In his resignation, Vasilakis cited the need for state resources to address chronic shortages and stated he did not wish to act as a ‘buffer’ for systemic deficiencies that impact the facility’s operations.
