TKDK agricultural grants for Turkish dairy projects

Overview

Agricultural investments in Turkey are being supported through TKDK IPARD Program grants to expand dairy production and rural development.

In Çorum, a 75.6 million TRY project was initiated for a women’s cooperative to build a dairy processing plant. The facility, supported by a 50% grant from TKDK, is designed to process 10 tons of raw milk daily to produce items such as cheese, yogurt, and butter.

In Karabük, a separate 33 million lira milk production facility has been established in the Eflani district. This project, which received an 18.2 million lira TKDK grant, utilizes Simental cattle and adheres to European Union standards for animal welfare and food hygiene. The facility has an annual milk production capacity of 430 tons.
